    Why do some locksmith companies advertise a super low price?


    Locksmith scams are rampant. Companies who advertise an amazingly low price for locksmith services, or who give an unrealistically low quote by phone, are the kind of locksmiths that give legitimate locksmiths a bad name. Locksmith scammers will hold your keys hostage until you pay up the real, and usually highly inflated, price after the work is done. Protect yourself. Do your research, check the BBB, and look for online reviews before falling victim to a locksmith scam.

    Do you offer night or weekend locksmith services?


    At Quick-Pick Locksmith, we are lucky to have a great 24-hour locksmith team, so we do offer our locksmith services 24 hours a day - 7 days per week.

    I locked my keys in the cab of my semi truck. Can you unlock a semi?


    Yes! We unlock most semi trucks. Our founding managing locksmith, Ray, spent a little time as an over-the-road truck driver, so we know how stressful this can be and how important it is to get back on the road as quickly as possible.

    Do you provide commercial locksmith services?


    We do provide many commercial locksmith services. In fact, we are very excited about our master key systems. Master key systems are a great solution for organizations who experience employee turnover, so if you haven't heard of them, give us a call and ask Ray or Jake why they are so great.

    Don't I have to order my high security key replacement from the dealer?


    No, if you need a new high security key replacement or duplication for your vehicle, you can skip the hassle of driving to the dealer and waiting for a key to come in. Our service vans are fully equipped with the tools and inventory to provide key replacements or duplicates of most high security keys, chip keys, key fobs and key remotes. In fact, what the dealers don't tell you is that sometimes they end up calling a locksmith anyway to complete the job. This means you might end up paying more by going through the dealer. Quick-Pick is 100% mobile, so we can come to your location and get the job done on the spot.

    I just moved into a new home, should I replace the locks?


    While replacing the locks is an option, it may not be necessary. Existing locks can usually be rekeyed, saving the hassle of buying and installing all new locks. Rekeying means resetting the lock to accept an entirely new key. Rekeying all of the home's locks ensures that any old key copies that are in the hands of others are rendered useless.

    I lost my original key, do I have to replace the lock now?


    No, not usually. Replacement keys can usually be made, even when all other key copies and originals have been lost.

    Yes. We have inventory, tools, and equipment for motorcycle and RV keys.

    I am all the way out in Jonesburg, Missouri and need a key. Can you help?


    At Quick-Pick Locksmith, we have expanded our service area quite a bit. If you are not sure, give us a call and we will let you know if we can provide the service you are looking for at the location where you need it. Our general service areas include the Missouri counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Pike, Lincoln, and Warren. However, we may go beyond that depending on the situation and your needs. We do not provide services in Illinois.

    I am a AAA member and would like you to do the work. Is that possible?


    We are a AAA locksmith provider, covering a large area of East - Central Missouri. If you are a AAA member and need locksmith services, give AAA a call at the number they have provided to you on your card. We cannot guarantee that they will be able to send us, but feel free to ask when you call them. We appreciate your business!
